NAMIC AM Industry Showcase (2023)
Mencast CEO, Glenndle Sim, presented the world’s first fully printed marine propeller to Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat at the NAMIC AM Industry Showcase on 7 July 2023.
Successful Printing of Prototype AM Propellers
Mencast has collaborated with SUTD to successfully develop the world’s first fully AM prototype propeller. The AM prototype propeller was also tested on a boat for a period of 6 months. Test results show that it performed very well, matching the performance of casted propellers.
